Who writes our guides and articles, where the facts come from, and how to tell us when something is wrong.
Who writes our content
The guides, blog posts and area pages on bamquickbins.com are written by the Bam Quick Bins team. Every article shows who it is by, when it was published and when its content last changed. When a named member of our team writes or reviews a page, their name and role appear on it.
Where our facts come from
- Our own services. Bin sizes, rental terms, prices, what our bins can take and the areas we serve come from our own records. They are kept in one place on the site, so every page states them the same way.
- Rules and regulations. For disposal rules, safety advice and municipal programs, we link to the official source: the Government of Ontario, the Government of Canada, Health Canada or the municipality's own website.
- Product specifications. Figures about Molok® and Earth Bin® containers come from the manufacturers' official pages.
- Sources on the page. Articles that rely on outside facts list their sources at the end. We open and check each source before we cite it.
How we keep pages current
We update a page when a rule, price or policy it describes changes. The "Updated" date on an article is the last time its content changed, not the last time the site was rebuilt. If an official source changes, we correct the page or remove the claim.
Our interest in what we write
We rent the bins we write about, and we say so here. We still try to give a straight answer: our guides say when a bin is not the right choice, for example when curbside pickup or a municipal drop-off is enough for a small load. We do not comment on other companies' prices or quality.
What our content is not
Our articles are general information, not legal, safety or engineering advice. Rules differ from one municipality to the next and change over time. Before you dispose of hazardous materials, take down a structure or place a bin on a road, check your municipality's current rules and get qualified help where the work calls for it.
Report an error
If you spot something wrong or out of date, email Service@bamquickbins.com with the page address and what needs fixing. We review every report and correct confirmed errors.
