Picking a bin size is the one decision that affects everything else about your rental: the price, whether it fits in your driveway, and whether you finish the job with one delivery.
Start with the type of project
Garage or basement cleanout. Most single-room cleanouts fit comfortably in a 10 or 15-yard bin. Furniture, boxes, and old sports gear take up space but weigh very little.
Kitchen or bathroom renovation. Cabinets, drywall, flooring, and fixtures add up fast. A 15 or 20-yard bin covers most single-room renos.
Roofing. Shingles are heavy. A 10 or 15-yard bin is usually the right call, even for a large roof, because weight limits matter more than volume.
Whole-home renovation or new build. Go with a 20-yard bin and plan on a swap or two.

Think about weight, not just volume
Dirt, concrete, brick, and sod are dense. For heavy materials, ask about our dirt and concrete bins, which are sized so the truck can still lift them when full.
Measure your driveway
A roll-off bin needs a clear, level space and room for the truck to back in. If you are tight on space, tell us when booking and we will help you choose a footprint that fits.
When in doubt, size up one step
A slightly larger bin costs a little more. A second delivery costs a lot more. If you are between two sizes, the bigger one is almost always the better value.
Still not sure? Call your local team and describe the job. We size bins every day and will point you to the right one.
