Waste is the part of a renovation nobody plans for, and it is also the easiest part to get right. Here is the schedule we recommend to contractors and homeowners.
One week before demo
Book your bin. Choose the size based on your first phase of work, not the whole project. Confirm the drop location and make sure it is clear of vehicles on delivery day. If you are unsure between sizes, our bin size guide sorts it out in two minutes.
Delivery day
Our driver places boards under the bin to protect your driveway and sets it exactly where you asked. Take a quick photo of the placement for your records.
During demo
Load heavy items first and spread them across the floor of the bin. Break down cabinets and stack drywall flat. Fill the corners before the middle. A well-packed bin holds about a third more than a tossed one.
When the bin is three-quarters full
Call or book a swap. We bring an empty bin and take the full one on the same trip, so your crew never stops to wait for disposal.
Project wrap-up
Schedule the final pickup for the day after your last load. Leave the area around the bin clear so the truck can hook up without moving anything.
Follow this timeline and waste becomes the one part of the renovation that runs exactly on schedule.
